Justice Grown Names Darin Carpenter as CEO

Justice Grown, a multi-state cannabis operator that holds licenses in 5 states, is proud to welcome Darin Carpenter as its new Chief Executive Officer. Carpenter has an extensive background and proven track record in the cannabis industry, most notably as a founding member of Tryke Companies / Reef Dispensaries, which is currently under acquisition by Cresco Labs for $282.5 million.

As Director of Operations at Tryke, Darin built out cultivations and production labs in Nevada and Arizona and defined standard operating procedures for the company from 2014-2018. After moving on from Tryke, Carpenter was Senior VP of Operations for Flora California Prime for one year.

Darin also has an impressive medical background, which began in the U.S. military. There he served as both a medic and a combat trauma management instructor in Special Operations Forces. He later went on to act as a research assistant at the Barrow Neurological Institute’s Neuro-Oncology Laboratory and acted as Global Technical Operations Manager for World Wide Wheat LLC. Carpenter holds a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University, where he studied genetics, developmental biology, and cellular biology.

Part of Darin’s role with Justice Grown will be improving upon the existing foundation created by the company thus far. Among Carpenter’s initiatives will the buildout of new cultivation and production operations in Pennsylvania, Illinois, New Jersey, and Massachusetts, each of which will be designed to cGMP standards, with the implementation of Good Agricultural Practices as defined by the FDA.
