Justice Grown Awarded Dispensary License for Benton Harbor, Michigan

Benton Harbor, MI – Justice Grown is happy to announce that the company has been awarded a recreational cannabis dispensary license for the city of Benton Harbor, Michigan. The addition marks the eighth state that Justice Grown will operate in, alongside Pennsylvania, California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, and Utah.

“We look forward to serving the Lake Michigan area with our first entry into the state and we hope to serve the greater Michigan market in the future,” says Darin Carpenter, CEO of Justice Grown. “We are proud to build and contribute to the community of Benton Harbor in a positive manner.”

The dispensary will be locally managed and operated, overseen from Justice Grown’s national headquarters. The storefront will be located off of Main Street in downtown and is expected to open in 2021.

Justice Grown currently operates two medical dispensaries in Pennsylvania, with another dispensary location and a new cultivation site slated for the state in 2020. Also in development is the company’s first recreational dispensary in Santa Rosa, California, in addition to expansion and improvements to the state’s cultivation operation. Currently under construction are Justice Grown’s New Jersey cultivation operation and its first dispensary in the state, as well as a new cultivation facility in Illinois. Additional operations in each Utah, Massachusetts, and Missouri are also underway.
